AWSome!

Monday, April 15th, 2013

Cloud solutions are all the rage these days for web services.  Cloud is really just a new fancy way for, uh, server not where i’m at.  But there’s more to it than that.

Amazon has a great solution called AWS (Amazon Web Services) that allows for great flexibility to serving up information to customers.

Another thing Amazon has done is made their AWS open to an API.  They have crafted multiple SDK libraries for various languages people develop in.

I decided to make use of their API to make a handy and useful iOS app.  I called it AWSome.  I know, I know… Awesome is spelled with an ‘e’ but that doesn’t work with my word play…. But this app is AWESOME!

MLB Golf Score 2012

Friday, April 6th, 2012

Ever grow tired of the long, drawn out season baseball has? 162 games is like watching a marathon. If you like golf, then you can make a formula that will take the 162 games and divide it into 18 holes. Every 9 games, is a hole and if you win 5 of those 9, its par. 4, a bogey. 6, a birdy. To see it in action, check out this page
